Outfit: casual saber tooth tiger shirt, classic jeans with slippers. I didn't try too hard with this one, admittedly.
Plan: dinner at Nico's Fish Market on the pier.
Outcome: Well, now! This cop surprised me. We've been out before real casual-like for Taco Bell or Jamba Juice and a jog, so I wasn't expecting much except for a relaxed dinner. The last time I went to Nico's it was sort of a cafeteria-style lunch joint. They remodeled, though, and dining was classy and tasty! I had swordfish with some sort of delicious bell pepper cream sauce, and he had furikake seared ahi. Of course he picked up the check...he brought his "A" game!
We walked down the pier afterwards and there were some romantic moments. When the poetic, misty rain set in, we got back to his car and he drove me through his old "beat." Turns out it was his birthday! I felt special to have been the one he wanted to spend it with. He parked at Diamond Head Lookout near the ink black ocean, and a tame high school necking session ensued. He was polite, I kept it classy. This date was a well needed confidence boost, and we had a lot of fun! There may be more dates with this guy...
